Heller village is a hamlet in the district of Marzahn- Heller village of Berlin. Until the 2001 administrative reform it was also a district Heller village. The district was created from the project of a large housing estate in bricks.

Since the spin-off from the former borough of Marzahn 1986 and to re- fusion with the district in 2001, Heller village was the name of an independent district. To the former district Heller village included the districts Kaulsdorf, Mahlsdorf and the eponymous district Heller village.

History

Like many other villages in the area IV was first mentioned in the Book of Charles country also Heller village in 1375. It was called " Helwichstorpp " and belonged to the brothers Dirike, which include a large estate. At this time Heller village already had a mill. From the mid- 1980s Heller village was expanded to the east. There new residential buildings were built on an area that actually belonged to the municipality Honow. The large housing estate is connected by the line U5 subway and tram lines M6 and 18 to the Berlin public transport network.
