Helmut Siber

Helmut Siber ( born May 16, 1942) is a former Austrian football player.

Career

Helmut Siber began his career at SV Hall, which he came to FC Wacker Innsbruck in 1964, the highest Austrian league. In Innsbruck he harmonized in particular by storm with Franz Wolny and Helmut Redl. Two runner-up title, there were at this time for Helmut Siber, who had 15 goals with 1966/67, his best season. This year, the striker also on May 27, 1967 his debut in the Austrian national team, a total of ten other countries games in which he scored four goals against England celebrated, Helmut Siber denied until 1969. A year before, 1968, had the striker Innsbruck leave and a game time ran long on in the German Bundesliga at the Kickers Offenbach, before he returned to Austria and went to WSG Swarovski Wattens.

Two Seasons Wattens followed a year in Donawitzer SV Alpine and 1972 eventually return to Innsbruck. Here Helmut Siber was able to be Austrian champion, after the departure of coach Egon Herlan he had recorded no betting. So Helmut Siber his pro career, decided to adopt the second-rate FC Dornbirn 1913 in Vorarlberg, with whom he had failed in 1974 as a Regional Champion in the relegation only on the Bundesliga promotion.
