Helsingør Municipality

Helsingør Kommune (Eng. also Elsinore Municipality, Eng. Well Elsinore municipality ) is a Danish municipality in the Capital Region.

The area of ​​the municipality is 118.90 km ² and has 61 613 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The seat of government is in Elsinore.

To the east of the commune is the Øresund, north of the Kattegat. The town of Helsingør is linked by ferry to the city of Helsingborg in Sweden.
