Helsinki Ice Hall

Helsingfors IFK (since 1967)

The Helsingin Jäähalli is an ice rink in the Finnish capital Helsinki. It is mainly used for hockey and is the home arena of the ice hockey club IFK Helsingfors. It was opened in 1967 and can accommodate 8,200 spectators.

A nickname of the hall is Petoluola ( " cave of the beast "). This is because HIFK has a panther logo.

The hall is used as a multi -functional hall for other sporting events. So the hall was from 17 to November 18, 2007 hosted the 4th IFC World Cup in cheerleading.
