Hendrik Koekoek

Hendrik Koekoek ( May 22nd 1912 in Hollandscheveld; † February 8, 1987 in Bennekom ) was a Dutch farmer and politician. For co-founded by his right-wing protest party Boerenpartij Koekoek boer ( farmer cuckoo ) sat from 1963 to 1981 in the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament.

Koekoek originally belonged to the conservative Christian Christelijk - Historic Unie ( CHU ) and was in the elections 1956 ( unsuccessful ) top candidate of the Nederlandse Unie Oppositie.
