Hengelo (Gelderland)

( Listen? / I ) Hengelo is a village in the municipality of Bronckhorst, Gelderland, the Netherlands. It has about 8,500 inhabitants ( as of 2008). The village is dominated by agriculture and has little industry. It serves as a shopping center for the surrounding villages.

The church from the 15th century is used by the Dutch Reformed Church.

Until the local government reform from 1 January 2005 Hengelo was a separate municipality.
