The Hengelsbach is a 1.9 km long, orographic right tributary of the Mohne on the border of North Rhine-Westphalia and Ruethen Brilon, Germany.

Geography

The stream originates at Schnadestein at the Dinkboke in the saddle between the mountain and the dispute, northwest unnamed mountain at an altitude of 423 m above sea level. NN. To the southwest flowing down the stream initially forms the border between Brilon and Ruethen. In the middle reaches of the stream flows through the nature reserve Hengelsbach. After a displacement of 1.9 km of the creek flows southeast from Heidberg to 379 m above sea level. NN on the right side in the Mohne.

With a height difference of 44 m, the average bed slope is 23.2 ‰. The approximately 1.12 km ² large catchment area is drained by Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
