Henk Nijhof

Henk Nijhof ( born April 8, 1952) is a Dutch politician of the party Groen Links.

Life

After his teacher training studies Nijhof worked as a teacher in Hengelo. From 1982 to 1986 sat in the local city council. In the 1980s, Nijhof was a member of the Socialist Party Pacifistisch. In 1990 he moved to Groen Links. From 1994 to 2006 he was assistant secretary of the city of Hengelo. Nijhof was 2006-2012 chairman of Groen Links.
