Henkell & Co. KG is a German company sparkling wine for champagne, wine and spirits based in Wiesbaden and belongs since 1986 to Dr. August Oetker KG.

History

Founding and early years

1832 establishes Adam Henkell the wine shop Henkell & Cie in Mainz. 25 years later, he set up the Mainz Walpodenstraße a " champagne factory" build, making it one of the produce first in Germany who has mastered the art of wine champagne. Expansion
