Henri Decoin

Henri Decoin ( born March 18, 1890 in Paris when Joseph Henri Decoin; † July 4, 1969 ) was a French screenwriter and film director.

Life

Henri Decoin was initially a sports journalist, wrote plays and screenplays, and came, first as an actor in 1925 for the film. In 1929, he was assistant director, among others at Carmine gallon and Victor Tourjansky. His directorial debut was in 1933. Decoin staged several movies with his wife, actress Danielle Darrieux. Expenses incurred during the post-war films, including Decoin often also wrote the screenplay, followed established patterns of entertainment cinema without further claims.

His son Didier Decoin ( born 1945 in Boulogne- Billancourt ( Seine) ) is a French writer.
