Henriëtte Ronner-Knip

Henriėtte Ronner -Knip ( born May 31, 1821 in Amsterdam, † February 28, 1909 in Ixelles ) was a Dutch-Belgian painter, watercolor paintings and drawings.

As a pupil of her father, the painter Augustus Knip Josephus (1777-1847), she started early with the representation of animals, especially dogs and cats. In her later work she focused primarily on the depiction of cats of all kinds in luxurious surroundings.

Her siblings Alfred Ronner, Alice Ronner and Emma Ronner were also painters.
