Henrik Plenge Jakobsen

Henrik Plenge Jakobsen (born 1967 in Copenhagen, Denmark ) is a Danish artist who works with various media such as sculpture, installations to performances and public appearances.

Life

Jakobsen studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen in the years 1987 to 1994. Between 1992 to 1993 he studied at the École nationale supérieure des beaux -arts in Paris and the Institut des Hautes Etudes en arts plastiques, Paris.

Jakobsen lives in Copenhagen and is a professor at the Art Academy in Oslo.

Jakobsen's work is often a combination of visual elements in the spatial reference, often associated with action and performance elements
