Henrik Sjögren

Henrik Samuel Conrad Sjögren ( [ ˌ ʃø gɾɛn ], also [ ˌ xØ gɾɛn ]; born July 23, 1899 in Köpings ( Mälaren ), † September 17, 1986 in Lund ) was a Swedish ophthalmologist. He is best known because of Sjogren's syndrome, named after him, which he first described in 1933 in his thesis.
