Henry Luke Orombi

Henry Luke Orombi (* 1949 in Goli, Uganda ) is the Anglican Archbishop of the Church of Uganda and Bishop of Kampala. In this role, he is also the Chancellor of Uganda Christian University.

Henry Orombi was, in northwestern Uganda, born in Goli. In teacher training college he was converted to Christ. In 1974 he first met Janani Luwum ​​the then Primate of Uganda, who convinced him that he should study theology.
