Henry Plée

Henry Plée ( born May 24, 1923 in Arras, France ) is a French karate pioneer and holder of 10th Dan. In 1946 he began in Japan with the karate lessons with Rikutaro Fukuda, a direct student of Master Gichin Funakoshi ( founder of Shotokan style ). In 1953 he founded his Dojo in the Rue de la Montagne -Sainte- Genevieve, in Paris, where he teaches the Japanese martial arts judo, karate, aikido and kendo.
