Henryk Orfinger

Henryk Orfinger (* 1951) is a Polish entrepreneur. He is a founding partner of the cosmetics company Dr Irena Eris and heard - along with his wife - according to an annually updated rich list in the Polish edition of Forbes magazine in 2013 with a fortune of about 100 million euros to the hundred richest Poland.

Life

Orfinger studied at the Faculty of Transport Engineering of the Technical University in Warsaw. In 1983 he founded with his wife Irena Szołomicka - Orfinger the cosmetics company Dr Irena Eris, which initially consisted of a small business with a staff that produced a hand cream. The capital required to start a business the couple had received from an inheritance. Initially Orfinger was still in the Polish Ministry of Transport ( Ministerstwo Komunikacji ) busy. After a year he began full-time for his cosmetics company to work. He is Chairman of the Executive Board. The group includes not only cosmetics production (consisting of laboratory Kosmetyczne Dr Irena Eris, Instytut Kosmetyczny Dr Irena Eris and Centrum Naukowo - Badawcze Dr Irena Eris ), two spa hotels ( " Hotele SPA Dr Irene Eris " in Krynica -Zdrój and Wysoka Wies at Ostróda ) and a sales company in Ukraine. The company produces a month approximately 2 million cosmetics and delivers to 28 countries from.

In 2000 Orfinger acquired the historic Henryk Palace in Warsaw's Mokotów, he let rehabilitate and uses as the Warsaw office of the company today.

Functions

Orfinger is to volunteer as members of the Management Board for the co-founders of Association of Polish cosmetics industry ( Polski Związek Przemysłu Kosmetycznego ) operates. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Employers Organisation Polska Konfederacja Pracodawców Prywatnych Lewiatan. He is also chairman of the jury for the award of Polish economists, the Galeria Chwały Polskiej Ekonomii.

In January 2006 Orfinger was elected Deputy Chairman of westmasurischen Tourism Organization ( Zachodniomazurska Lokalna Organizacja Turystyczna zlot ). In 2000 he received the award from the Business Centre Club " Lider Polskiego biznesu " for the development and expansion as well as the international competitiveness of his company. In 2004 the Order of Polonia Restituta awarded him.
