Herbert Hein

Herbert Hein ( born March 27, 1954) is a former German football player.

For thirteen years the defender played in the 1st Bundesliga. His most successful period he had the 1st FC Cologne, with whom he became German champion in 1971, the A - juniors. In his years as a pro, he worked with coach greats like Hennes Weisweiler and Zlatko Cajkovski. Despite always solid performances it was never enough for the senior team.
