Herblock

Herbert Lawrence Block ( Herblock pseudonym ) ( born October 13, 1909 in Chicago; † 7 October 2001 in Washington, DC) was an American political cartoonist who has worked over 50 years for The Washington Post. The three-time Pulitzer Prize winner for editorial cartooning was a member ( fellow ) the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He received on 8 August 1994, the Medal of Freedom ("The Presidential Medal of Freedom ").
