Herman I, Count of Henneberg

Count Hermann I of Henneberg (* 1224, † December 18, 1290 ) was married in 1249 to Margaret († March 26, 1276 ), the sister of William of Holland, Count of Holland and Roman-German king (or anti-king ). He founded the " New rule " with areas around Coburg and ice rink, which later with Katharina von Henneberg as care Coburg went to the House of Wettin.

He came from the marriage of his father Poppo VII of Henneberg with Jutta of Thuringia (* 1184 † August 6, 1235 in Schleusingen ), the eldest daughter of the Landgrave Hermann I of Thuringia.
