Herman Murray

Herman Murray ( born December 5, 1909 in Montréal, Québec, † November 27, 1998 ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Career

Herman Murray began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association, for which he was active in the season 1929/30. Also in the following years he remained the Hockey in Montreal connected. From 1930 to 1933 and in the 1935/36 season he played for the Montreal Victorias and 1933 to 1935 and from 1936 to 1940 he played for the Montreal Royals. He also represented Canada as a guest player with the Port Athur Bearcats at the Olympic Winter Games 1936.

Internationally

For Canada, Murray took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, where he won the silver medal with his team.
