Hermann Auf der Heide

Hermann Auf der Heide ( born June 1, 1911 † 17 October 1984) was a German hockey player.

Hermann On the heath of the TSV Sachsenhausen in 1857 won the German championship with his club in 1939 and 1943. In the years before and during the Second World War, the Frankfurter reached at Karl Dröse and Erich Cuntz with the brothers Hermann and Eberhard Auf der Heide six times in the final of the German Cup.

Hermann Auf der Heide debuted in 1936 in the German national hockey team. At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 the defender was only in the game against Denmark for use. The German team lost only in the final against the then in force as unbeatable Indian hockey team and won the silver medal. Overall, Hermann worked Auf der Heide 1936 to 1942 in five countries playing with.
