Hermann Müller (Idstein)

Hermann Müller ( born October 17, 1935 in Trade Bach; † 31 December 2013, Wiesbaden ) was a German politician ( CDU), 1978-2002 Mayor of Idstein.

He was married and had four grown children.

Policy

Hermann Müller was from 1960 to 1964 Member of the District Council of Untertaunus circle before he was from 1964 to 1974 a member of the district committee of the Untertaunus circle. From 1971 he was chairman of the CDU. 1968-1974 he was also a member of a meeting of the Planning Authority Rhein -Main -Taunus. Since 1989 he was a member of the district of the Rheingau -Taunus -Kreis.

1973-1978 he worked as a full-time Deputy Chief Executive of the town of Limburg an der Lahn.

1972 to 1974 he was a city councilor and Chairman of the CDU in Idstein. In 1974 he was elected by the city council for full-time mayor of the town of Idstein. He served 24 years and was three times (at first, then by the City Council in direct election by the citizens) re-elected this office. His successor as mayor was Gerhard Krum (SPD).
