Hermann Nattkämper

Hermann Nattkämper ( born October 4, 1911 in Gladbeck, † April 2, 2005 ) was a German football player and two times German champion with FC Schalke 04

At 14, the learned center half in 1925 a member of the club Prussia Gladbeck. As the host club criticized him because of a penalty miss, he left the club and went in 1930 to FC Schalke 04, where he was in 1934 and 1935, German football champions.

In 1936, he left after 74 games and 27 goals FC Schalke and worked from now on as city magistrate and in his parents' drinks wholesale. During the Second World War, he fell into Russian captivity, where he played in a team Danziger.

Hermann Nattkämper was the last surviving member of the legendary " Schalke gyroscope " to the Ernst and Fritz Kuzorra Szepan included.
