Hermann Ude

Hermann Ude ( born August 24, 1961 in Kiel ) is a former board member of Deutsche Post AG, responsible for cargo operations and was replaced in that position the end of March 2011 from Roger Crook.

Career

Ude passed the Abitur in 1980 in Kiel and graduated from 1980 to 1982 the military service in the Bundeswehr. From 1982 to 1990 he studied at the Christian -Albrechts -University of Kiel and the University of Mannheim Business Administration and completed his studies with a degree in business administration.

Ude was a management consultant for the automotive, manufacturing and electric at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company and went with the group German Post World Net in 1998 as Head of Group organization. In 2001, he took over the management of the corporate offices and became head of the rod for the CEO Klaus Zumwinkel. In 2005, he was responsible for the implementation of the First Choice Service Initiative responsible in the corporate logistics and Global Business Services. After leaving Zumwinkel 2008 he was Group Executive for freight, but CEO Frank Appel separated in the spring of 2011 from him.

Since 2012 Ude is a Managing Partner of training mbH, based in Bonn, in the field of e -learning and talent management. In November 2012 Ude was elected for five years in the University Council of the University of Bonn, who took up his duties at a constituent meeting in early February 2013. Upon request, the University of Bonn announced that Ude " resigned at his own request with immediate effect from the University Council of the University of Bonn " on Friday, 20 September 2013.

In September 2013 it was announced through a press release that the Bonn office is investigating Ude, because he allegedly tried to coerce the SPD chancellor candidate for the parliamentary election in 2013, Peer Steinbrueck with a threatening letter to a withdrawal of his candidacy for chancellor.
