Hernici
The Hernici were an ancient Italic nation, which was related to the Sabines.
They sat originally near Rome, but settled early on in the valley of the river Trerus ( Sacco ). 486 BC came the Hernici at the Roman- Latin covenant.
After Anagnia, the capital of the Hernici, and other villages had participated in the second Samnitenkrieg that Hernici were 306 BC made to tax and duty paid subjects.
241 BC were all Hernici the full Roman citizenship.
