Herpa Miniature Models based in Dietenhofen (Bayern ) is one of the largest manufacturers of automotive and aircraft scale models. The company is the world leader in model aircraft in the standard scale of 1:500.

History

1949, the company was founded in Nuremberg by Wilhelm Hergenröther. The name is composed of Hergenröther patents. Initially, we presented model train accessories forth.

In 1961 the company Riwa Plastic was founded, also in Nuremberg, a manufacturer of plastic parts for the Photo and Phonographic Industry.
