Hi-Standard

Hi- Standard is a punk band from Japan which was founded in 1991. The members of the band are Akira Tsuneoka (恒 冈 章, Tsuneoka Akira; drums), Akihiro Namba (难 波 章 浩, Akihiro Namba; vocals and bass ) and Ken Yokoyama (横山 健, Ken Yokoyama, vocals and guitar). Hi- Standard are under the label Fat Wreck Chords under contract. In Japan, the band has also released publications on Ken Yokoyama's own record label Pizza of Death Records, among others, Husking Bee. The lyrics are contrary to the punk cliché most of cheerful topics. Some of their songs are " verpunkte " cover versions, for example, of the Bay City Rollers or Rainbow.
