Pizza of Death Records

Pizza of Death Records is an independent record label that was founded by Ken Yokoyama, guitarist of the Japanese punk band Hi- Standard 1999. Pizza of Death Records is one of the most successful independent labels in Japan. After an initial focus on Japanese bands publishes and distributes the label albums now also European and American punk bands.

Publications

The first release of Pizza of Death Records, the album was Making the Road of the group Hi- Standard. The album was sold in Japan more than a million times, and the international distribution was carried out by the U.S. punk label Fat Wreck Chords. Yokoyama 2002 produced the debut album of Hawaiian6, which was sold in Japan over 150,000 times. Published in 2004, Ken released his first solo album The Cost Of My Freedom. His second album, Nothing but sausage sold within a few days more than 50,000 times.
