Hiberno-Normans

Hiberno - Normans ( Latin: hibernia = Ireland) are called Normans, who settled in Ireland after they had invaded in 1167 under Richard Fitz Godbert de Roche and 1169 under Richard de Clare, with Welsh and Flemings of England and Wales from there. They consisted mainly of Welsh Cambro - Normans and only some Anglo-Normans from England who lived there since the Norman conquest of England in 1066 and originally from Normandy.
