Hideo Nakata
Hideo Nakata (Japanese中 田 秀 夫, Nakata Hideo, born July 19, 1961 in Okayama Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese film producer, writer and director.
Nakata is in the western world mainly through his J- horror films (Japanese Horror) - known - Ringu of 1998, Ringu 2 from 1999 and Dark Water from the year 2002. Ringu was remade in 2002 under the title The ring by director Gore Verbinski. In the sequel to the film The Ring 2 from 2005 Nakata then led to direct myself.
