Hiidenvesi

The Hiidenvesi [hi ː dɛnvɛsi ] is a lake in southern Finland. With an area of 29.1 km ² it is the second largest lake in the countryside Uusimaa. The Hiidenvesi is located on the territory of the municipalities Vihti and Lohja and is divided into the following four areas: Kirkkojärvi and Mustionselkä in the northeast, Nummelanselkä the east and the middle part Kiihkelyksenselkä. The lake is 12.7 km long and up to 30 m deep. The Hiidenvesi is drained by the Väänteenjoki River in the south-west to Lohjanjärvi Lake. The lake lies in the catchment of Karjaanjoki.
