Hilary McKay
Hilary McKay ( born 1959 in Boston ( Lincolnshire ) ) is a British author.
She was born as the oldest of four sisters and studied botany, zoology, English and psychology and dabbled in different careers before they began to write. " Four crazy sisters," her first book, was awarded in the UK with the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize. After that, they still published numerous other books for children.
