Hindawi Publishing Corporation

The Hindawi Publishing Corporation is a scientific journal publishing house that was founded in 1997 by two Egyptian scientists. Hindawi currently publishes (as of September 2012) over 400 peer -reviewed journals and several scientific monographs. The company has offices in New York and Cairo. It is one of the pioneers of the open access movement that wants to make accessible scientific literature to anyone interested. Hindawi is one of the first publishers who published exclusively by the standards of the Open Access ( since 2007). Also, printed magazines are available for a fee.
