The Rear Bachofen peak in the Karwendel mountains in Tirol is 2668 m above sea level. A. the northernmost point of the far -reaching municipal area of Thaur in the Inn Valley. Location

The Rear Bachofen peak in the Gleirsch Halltal chain separates the Gleirschkette in the west of the Halltalkette in the east. It is also the northernmost summit of Verbindungsgrates, which runs to the Stempeljochspitzen over the Ross head to the south and connects the northern chain. Routes to the summit

The easiest and shortest reach the summit of the Pfeishütte is off ( 1922 m above sea level. A. ) on the marked path through the Sonntagkar in the southwest.
