Hintlesham

Hintlesham is a village in Suffolk, England and lies in the same civil parish. It is located between Ipswich and Hadleigh.

The civil parish has 564 inhabitants ( 2001). To be highlighted buildings include Hintlesham Hall, a manor house dating from the 16th century, in which a hotel is operated today and that is a Grade I listed building.

Attractions

  • St. Nicholas Church from the 13th to the 15th century. In the Church there are a number of grave slabs from the 16th to the 17th century and a medieval wall painting of St. Christopher.
