Hiroatsu Takahashi

Hiroatsu Takahashi (Japanese高桥 弘 笃, Takahashi Hiroatsu; born April 13, 1984 in Tomiya, Kurokawa -gun, Miyagi Prefecture) is a Japanese Skeleton pilot.

Hiroatsu Takahashi studied as its subsequent team-mate Kazuhiro Koshi, sports science at the University of Sendai and lives in Nagano Prefecture. He began 2002 with the sport of skeleton, a part of since 2006 in the Japanese national team, and was founded in 2007 Team White Thunder Skeleton Club of the IT company Systex. The Japanese gave in 2004 his international debut in the Skeleton America's Cup and was at your first race in Calgary 29 more missions followed only sporadically in this series. His best result was a fourth place in St. Moritz, only once he missed as 12th in Altenberg the top ten rankings. In the overall standings Takahashi finished sixth.

For the season 2010/11, Takahashi could qualify for the Skeleton World Cup Igls and came in the season opener on his first deployment, in which he was 21. Previously, he had already won the first time the Japanese title.
