Hiroshi Nakada

Hiroshi Nakada (Japanese中 田 宏, Hiroshi Nakada, born September 20, 1964 in Yokohama ) is a Japanese politician of the Nippon Ishin no Kai and deputy in the lower house for the proportional representation block Hokuriku Shin'etsu. He was from 2002 to 2009 mayor of Yokohama, the capital of the prefecture of Kanagawa.

Nakada studied at Aoyama Gakuin University, where he graduated in March 1989.

Politically, Nakada dedicated in 1992 at the founding of Nihon Shinto, an existing political party until 1994. He was first elected as an MP in 1 Japanese House in four- mandate constituency Kanagawa 1993, 1996 and 2000 took place in Kanagawa 8 Einmandatswahlkreis his re-election.

Nakada, who was elected in 2002 at the age of 37 years to 28 Mayor of Yokohama, is the youngest ever elected mayor of a major Japanese city. In 2006 he was confirmed in office. As mayor, he was able to consolidate the municipal budget by cuts particularly in personnel costs.

In the summer of 2009, he resigned in order to pursue the national policy. He then teamed up with other municipal and prefectural politicians, including Hiroshi Yamada, mayor of Suginami, the party Yoi kuni tsukurō! Nippon Shimin kaigi (よい 国 つくろう!日本 志 民 会议) and 2010, the Nippon Sōshintō who wanted to win 2010 seats in the national parliament in the upper house election, but failed. 2012 went to the party in the Nippon Ishin no Kai, a candidate in the proportional representation in rural Hokuriku Shin'etsu for Nakada at the general election of 2012.
