Hirschberg (Allgäu)

The Hirschberg is a 1500 meter high mountain, which is located north of Bad Hindelang in the Allgäu Alps. A special feature is the cross on the summit, which is not located at the highest point of the mountain. As the highest point of the village of Bad Hindelang is not seeing the cross was erected south of the summit. In some hiking maps the location and height of the summit cross of 1479 meters is only provided but not recorded the actual summit. The Vertical separation of Hirschbergs is at least 80 meters, its dominance 600 meters, the mountain is Spieser reference each.

Migration pathways of Bad Hindelang from

  • About the deer Bachtobel, on the eastern flank of the mountain. In Hirsch Bachtobel are panels of Hindelanger trail.
  • About the Steinköpfle, on the western flank of the mountains. This path can be addressed directly from the village or from Zillenbach from Tobel.
