Hisaoki Kamei

Hisaoki Kamei (Japanese亀 井 久 兴, Kamei Hisaoki; born November 8, 1939 in Shibuya, Tokyo Prefecture, reported in Tsuwano, Shimane Prefecture) is a Japanese politician. He was until 2009 a Member of the Shūgiin and General Secretary of the New People's Party.

After studying Political Science at Gakushuin Kamei 1962 employees at Nippon Yusen. A year later he became the secretary of the Shūgiin deputies Matsuda Takechiyo. From 1967 he worked for Yoshida Kōgyō, where he was Executive 1969.

1974 won Kamei as a candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party ( LDP) with a mandate in Sangiin and in 1980 re-elected for a second term. In the party Kamei belonged first to Kōchikai, 1999, he was among the founders of the Taiyūkai Kono Yohei. From 1997 to 1998, Kamei was head of the Department of State Country Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto in the second cabinet.

2009 lost Kamei, as well as the party chairman Tamisuke Watanuki his seat in Shūgiin. His successor as Secretary General of the People's New Party was Shôzaburô Jimi.

Kamei is the third son of Count Kamei Koretate, a descendant of the daimyo Kamei Korenori. His maternal grandfather was the writer and members of the Kizokuin Count Arima Yorichika. His eldest daughter is the Sangiin MPs Akiko Kamei ( People's New Party).
