The HMS Howe was a British battleship of the King George V class, which was used during the Second World War.

She was named after Admiral Richard Howe, 1st Earl Howe. Originally the name Beatty - by David Beatty, 1st Earl Beatty, the commander of the battle cruiser fleet in the Battle of Jutland - provided for the vessel. In February 1940, it was decided to christen the ship in the name of Howe.

The Howe was one of 1942 and beginning of 1943 to the Home Fleet. After that, she was assigned to Force H in the Mediterranean. She has been remodeled from October 1943 to June 1944, and afterward did more service in the British Pacific Fleet. After the war it served the training. She was scrapped from the year 1957.
