HMS Juno

HMS Juno is the name of several British ships, which are named after the Roman goddess Juno:

  • HMS Juno (1757 ), a ship of the 5th grade with 32 cannons, which was launched in 1757, was burned in 1778 in front of Rhode Iceland to prevent his conquest.
  • HMS Juno (1780 ), a warship 5th grade with 32 cannons, which was launched in 1780 and scrapped in 1811.
  • HMS Juno (1844 ), Ship of the 6th grade with 26 cannons, which launched in 1844. It was in 1878 renamed HMS Mariner and later converted as HMS Atalanta in a training ship in the year. In 1880 she sank in the Atlantic.
