HMS Tigris

Several warships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Tigris (see Tigris ):

  • HMS Tigris (1813 ) was equipped with 36 cannons sail frigate. Originally the ship HMS Forth meant, but renamed in 1812, ran 1813 off the stack and in 1818 canceled.
  • HMS Tigris was a planned equipped with 36 guns frigate, which was set in 1822 at Kiel. The building was completely abandoned in 1832.
  • HMS Tigris (1829 ) was equipped with 10 cannons brig, which served as a research vessel. She ran in 1829 from the pile and was sold in 1862.
  • HMS Tigris (1834 ) was a gunboat with wheel drive, which was launched in 1834 and was lost in 1835.
  • HMS Tigris (1882 ) was a paddle steamer, was launched in 1882. The ship was sold in 1904 for civil Reusing and renamed Amarapoora.
  • HMS Tigris ( N63 ) was a submarine of the T class. The boat was launched in 1939 and went in 1943 in the Mediterranean lost.
