HNK Gorica

HNK Gorica (Croatian Hrvatski Nogometni club Gorica ) is a football sports club from the city, in the south of the state capital Zagreb Croatian town of Velika Gorica, which plays in the second HNL. Its home games, taken from the 8000 -seater stadium Radnik.

History

In Velika Gorica and the Turopolje region there is a long-lasting football tradition. The first clubs were formed in the 1930s. The most prominent, NK Radnik Velika Gorica, was founded in 1945, shortly after the war. The NK Polet from Buševec, the second fusion partner in 2009, was already 1934.

Notable players in the past were Andrej Panadić and Mario Cvitanović.

Presence

Since 1987, the NK Radnik as now, the NK Gorica played in his time built the Universiade Stadium Radnik. In the 2010/11 season the club's second HNL could win ahead NK Zagreb Lučko with five points. Since the Croatian Football Federation HNK Gorica but gave no Erstligalizenz, the club had to remain in the second division.
