The Prins Hendrik der Nederlanden was built in the UK Rammturmschiff, which was ordered in 1860 by the Royal Netherlands Navy. It was named after Henry of Orange -Nassau and was the first ironclad of the Dutch Navy. 1876 ​​ship to the Dutch East Indies was transferred there and took part, among other things in Lombok Expedition 1894. In 1899 the ship was decommissioned and eventually scrapped in 1925.
