Hobo (typeface)

The Hobo is a font that was designed in 1910 by Morris Fuller Benton for American Type Founders. It is characterized by robust curves and dynamic line thickness differences and is ajar in their forms of Art Nouveau. A special feature of Hobo is that it has no descenders, so the lower case letters g, j, p, q and y do not extend below the baseline. Due to their friendly appearance, it is suitable for decorative purposes.
