Hochfirst Tower

The high ridge tower is a 1890 on the 1190 m above sea level. NHN high high ridge near Titisee -Neustadt erected a lookout tower. The high ridge is a wooded mountain between Saig and Titisee in the Black Forest in Baden- Württemberg.

Development and use of

The built in steel truss design high ridge tower is 25 meters high and stands on a stone pedestal. The natural stone base is from a 1888 built wooden tower, in 1890 a hurricane became a victim.

The high ridge tower carries today also transmit antennas for radio relay and mobile communications.

A special feature of the high ridge tower is that it is additionally guyed.
