Band History
Hocus Pocus was founded in 1995 by the MCs 20Syl and Cambia, which released the mixtape » Première Formule " in the same year. In 1997, she met DJ Greem and began with him together to work on their first album " Seconde Formule ", which was released in 1998. Soon after, the band dispersed, however, since the composition was not working from two MCs and a DJ. While 20Syl and DJ Greem continue working together, Cambia got out of the band.
In 2001, the label 20Syl On and On Records. A year later, Hocus Pocus made the jump to the public by their single " Malade " was published after the victory of the band at the MCM session 2002.
After two further single releases (" Conscient " and " On & On Part II " ), was finally published in February 2005, the album " 73 Touches ", which was reissued in 2006 with seven other pieces.
In October 2007, published Hocus Pocus the album " Place 54 ", with which they made the jump into the French Top 20.
In March 2010, the release of " 16 Pièces " followed. It is striking that has grown on this album compared to previous works, the proportion of English-language passages. This album also reached as the previous "Place 54" in France number 13 in the charts.
