Högdalen metro station
Högdalen is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the homonymous district Högdalen. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system. The station is one of the more moderate -traffic station of the metro network. On a normal working day rise 3,000 commuters here.
The station was opened on 22 November 1954, when the section of the Gröna linjen was taken between Stureby and Högdalen in operation. Until 14 November 1959, she was also the terminus of line T18, from then on, the trains on the newly built section to the station Rågsved. The current station was inaugurated on 3 November 1957. The station is located between the stations Rågsved and band Hagen. The platforms are located above ground in high position. Stockholm Central Station is about eight kilometers.
