The Management Community High Borde was an administrative community in the district Borde in Saxony -Anhalt.

In the course of municipal reform in Saxony -Anhalt on 1 January 2010 set up 12 of the 14 communities, the community unit High flange.

History

The administrative community created by the merger has existed since the 1994 Management Community High flange with the administrative community Northern Borde, where the name High Borde was retained.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on 17 December 2004 by the regional council of Magdeburg.

Blazon: "In an occupied green with a black thread silver stake, the right of a golden tower with stairs, black door opening and two black window openings left a golden sheaf of six ears of wheat. "

The colors of the Management Community - derived from the main motifs and the color of the coat of arms shield - Gold (Yellow) - Green.

The green sign, a symbol of the fertility of Magdeburg, in which the Management Community High flange is, summarizes the main symbols of the former coat of arms of the administration Communities High flange ( the Bismarck tower) and Northern Borde ( Sheaf of six ears of wheat ) together. At the same time is the golden tower for the name High and the golden ears for beading. The silver pole symbolizes the Federal Highway 2, which runs through the territory of the administrative community and many communities affected.

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg heraldist Ernstalbrecht Fiedler.

Flag

The flag is yellow - green (1:1) striped ( longitudinal shape: strip running vertically, cross- shape: strips running horizontally ) and centrally occupied with the arms of the administrative community.
