The caves Bach is a left tributary of the rich stream in the Aschaffenburg district in the Spessart in Lower Franconia. It rises as Aulenbach in a valley north-west of the hollow in the so-called desert field at the die height (422 m) and flows mainly towards the east.

Course

The cave stream flows in hollow past the Lourdes grotto widely known and is from here to the mouth of the Gunzenbaches also called bending Bach. This name but is now only used by a few locals. Later in the cave creek runs through a portion of the Hutzelgrundes in whose name the technique for the preparation of dried fruit ( " dried apples " ) inserted. In the lower valley it traverses the place Rothengrund and reaches the Heimbacher mill. There is pedestrian and bicycle bridge out on the built in 2012, part of the Reichenbach water in a pipe above the cave stream and used to drive the mill. The cave creek crosses under a few meters further the state road in 2309 and it flows into the second arm of the rich stream.
